Yeti copycat, but for far less
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE 10/23/2020: I uploaded a video using this microphone to record piano in stereo mode, plugged into my Android phone via OTG cable. I have the microphone sitting in a desktop mic stand with the Yeti style shock-mount, aimed at the wall where the soundboard of the piano is facing.--------------------------------------I bought one of these used as this model is discontinued. As a note, this is the same exact microphone as the Cyber Acoustics CVL-2008, also referred to as the Denali, which sells for the same price as a Yeti. Seems everyone is getting into making USB multi pattern mics these days and either sticking with the 'mountain' or cryptozoological theme (Behringer's upcoming Bigfoot?). The only way you can get the Insignia version though is used, either here, or other places. My primary focus for using this microphone is to record videos of myself playing piano so I can plug it right into my Android phone with a USB C OTG cable, using the app Open Camera since you can configure it to use an external mic that offers stereo separation. As a warning, this might not work fully on lower-end android devices when using an OTG cable. But for me, this setup works really well for this purpose and the recorded sound is great. The only issue I had was the mic stand sucks. It'll pick up any vibrations or key clacking if you use the included stand, and since it's a fairly thick mic, about 2.3 inches diameter, finding a suitable shock mount might take some finagling, especially if you use the 1/4" threaded mount on the bottom. If you get a shockmount intended for the Yeti, you'll also need to get a 5/8" to 1/4" adapter. And if the bracket on the mount holding the threaded screw is too big, you'll cover up the USB and headphone inputs.I use this microphone with the YOUSHARES Blue Yeti Shock Mount and the On-Stage MA-125 1/4" Male to 5/8" Female Mic Screw Adapter. If you want to use both the headphone monitoring and USB connector at the same time, you really can only face the mic in one direction, although there is some flexibility in how far you can turn the microphone before you cover up the USB connector.Functionally, the microphone works perfectly on Windows 10 and on my OnePlus 6T. I'll probably post some videos later so you can hear how it sounds recording my piano.

Doesn't work with Windows 10
I plugged mine into my Windows 10 machine. I get the light in the front but I can not get my machine to recognize the device. Dissapointed to say the least.

Amazing Microphone for the Price
I originally went to the store to buy a Blue Yeti microphone, and I saw this one on sale for $59.99 at Best Buy. I have an Insignia TV (which I love) in my bedroom, so I was curious to see how this mic would perform. I bought this one and the Blue Yeti, figuring I could just take the Insignia mic back to the store.I ended up taking the Blue Yeti ($129) back to the store instead. This microphone is a pleasant surprise. After playing around with both, the sound quality of this microphone is on par with the Blue Yeti. You can control the gain level of the microphone, and you also plug your headphones directly into the microphone. Even includes a pop filter which is a nice touch for those of us who do podcasts and create video courses. It also lets you switch between omni-directional, cardioid, and stereo mode.If you're in the market for a good microphone at a great price, look no further!
