ACDelco Professional 36P1563 Power Steering Pump, Remanufactured

Make sure you have a pully puller for your old one, this is normal but just in case you didn't know. worked perfectly.

Great replacement. Easy DIY. Just make sure you have a pulley puller. Washer reservoir, belt off and 3 bolts. 06 Trailblazer.

I bought this to replace on my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer. The shaft has in and out movement which is normal, but it also has side to side movement. The pump has a louder whine than the pump I replaced it with. I thought I was going to get a higher quality part with AC Delco after seeing reviews on other brands of pumps but I was wrong. It may have been rebuilt at the same place. I put the old pump back on and have purchased a new pump. This one is going back. Nothing like replacing a pump 3 times in a week.

Beware this pump does not come with a reservoir cap. I expected it to come with one since the ones I’ve bought in the past all came with one..Just installed the pump last night and so far so good. Have yet to actually drive the car because I did not realize it doesn’t come with a cap and the cap is nearly impossible to find at local stores had to order online. Will update if any issues.

Not sure if the reservoir is leaking installed it last week notice the reservoir was low and spots on the ground. Had to add dye to check it to see if its leaking will know by tomorrow they didnt put a seal in the reservoir that goes to the pump

Fit perfectly on my 2003 Trailblazer LT.

Works great on my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer. I'll update if something goes wrong with it
