Good book
I thought this was based on the Hallmark movie, Loving Leah, but it wasn't. My fault for not reading the description. Was pleasantly surprised that it was a good book. If you want a "typical" romantic novel, go for it. Easy read.

Great movie
Love this movie!! It's not sugary sweet like so many Hallmark films, but it ends up right

USUAL RUN OF THE MILL!
8 years ago Leah Hays stepped aside when her best friend, John Bennett fell for her stepsister.Caro has been dead now for about a year. John and his in-laws need help with little Gracie, who was injured in the accident that killed her mother.John seems to be ravaged by grief and avoids staying at any length of time. Leah hopes to help heal John and Gracie and bring them closer together.Well it has been 8 years and Leah just assumes that John has not gotten over losing Caro. But she still secretly cherishes their friendship, wishing it could turn to love.Leah takes the summer off from her job in Chicago and a married man she had been seeing and returns to Montana to lend a helping hand.Wishing for more John's friendship. It says that their close quarters ignites forbidden passions, seemed awfully tepid to me.She was willing to settle for what John could offer, which, supposedly was not love. Just sex. Boy is she a loser.Leah is wishy, washy - John is too mild for hot pursuit - Gracie is too cutsey - still not bad for killing time.Again too much easy PMS [pre-marital sex] Ah well, another one to give away.Easy to read - decently written story - not my type of characters - but oh well.
