I prefer organic products whenever possible but I am also influenced by the reality of my budget. This Awaken Body Wash is great because it's made in the USA of non-toxic ingredients but budget-wise I consider it a luxury item because the bottle is small for what you pay for it. I have used organic products that are bigger than this and cost less. So, I have mixed feelings about it.On the positive the scent is very appealing, the product of at least five essential oils (ginger, lemongrass, lavender, orange, etc) which seems a bit excessive but the end result is floral and sweet-smelling. The best thing is that it lathers well and doesn't dry out my skin. It's also of a relatively thick consistency, which is bad for my soap dispenser but good for your not having to use too much of it to get a "clean" feeling.So overall I like it but don't expect it to last long in my house - in my opinion it is only one size larger than a deluxe travel sized bottle.

Love how this smells and feels on my body....very nice quality body wash...it would be a five star rating if the size weren't so small for the price!! It is excellent though....I would just prefer a container about four times larger for the price, at least three times larger!!! If you can afford luxury, then go for it...smells heavenly!!! Thank you!!

Our skin can absorb a surprising amount of the chemicals used in personal care products and I am trying to limit this exposure and products like this organic body wash help in that effort. Gentle, soothing aloe vera is the first ingredient and it is sulfate and paraben-free. And the formula uses no petrochemicals, artificial dyes or fragrances and it is cruelty-free.The clear gel is reasonably thick so it is easy to dispense just the amount desired unlike those with a thin/runny consistency that with one slight squeeze can release much more than desired, inadvertently wasting product. The body wash readily lathers, rinses well and leaves skin feeling clean and soft--not tight and dry.Certified to be composed of at least 76 percent organic ingredients it also has an excellent nicely balanced scent created with a blend of herbal and citrus components. Essential oils used in the formula include mandarin orange, lemongrass (Cymbopogon), rose, bergamot, lavender, melissa, ginger and more.The herbal fragrance does not linger although it smells so good I wish it did, and scent is clean and natural--suitable for all users. To dispense press down on one side of the cap and the opposite side pops up. Just squeeze the bottle to release the body wash. The bottle has an inner foil seal which ensures it arrives fresh and untouched. The seal also prevents leaks during transport. Manufactured in the USA--peasant and effective.

At first, I thought I was going to give this body wash a rather low review. I do not care for the earthy smell when you first open the bottle. I was even hesitant to try it because of the fragrance. However, I decided to try it and the smell is completely different after use! It leaves a nice, natural, clean smell on your body. I think it's a slightly masculine smell, but definitely not as "earthy" as you may think. It's a nice size bottle that will last awhile.

It smells like an orange but in a nice and refreshing way. It lathered well and I felt fresh and clean. Out of the shower, the smell was not discernible, which is exactly what I want.
